Tours of the Four Corners to include

Celebrate the 100th birthday of the National Park Service with a visit to some of its less crowded parks that have just as much to offer. Visits to Arches, Canyonlands, Mesa Verde and Great Sand Dunes National parks are interspersed with National Monuments and other special places. We'll peer down canyons and hike their rims. Plus we'll take the opportunity to experience a canyon from below with an on-river paddleboard or inflatable kayak experience. This tour incorporates daily hikes over moderate terrains for an active experience.
Make your way to Albuquerque Sunport (ABQ) by 4:00 pm. You'll have a ticket in hand for shuttle service from the airport to the Hotel Andaluz. We'll kick the tour off with a welcome reception in this historic hotel lobby from 5:30 - 7:00 pm. Then you will have the evening on your own if you would like to explore downtown Albuquerque just outside the door.

Well spend the afternoon in Rio Grande Del Norte National monument before heading further north to catch a sunset walk at Great Sand Dunes National Park.

After breakfast, we will make our way up Wolf Creek Pass with some stops at especially scenic sites. Then down to Pagosa Springs for a soak in the healing waters. We'll stop in the afternoon at Castle Rock National monument. Then its off to Durango for the evening.

After breakfast we're off to Mesa Verde National Park for a morning hike among some of the best preserved Puebloan archeological sites in the United States. After a picnic lunch we head north to Moab and a sunset experience in Arches National Park.

It's a full day in the northern section on Canyonlands National Park. We'll take a couple of hikes and side excursions interspersed with sustenance breaks and plenty of opportunities to take the breathtaking views in.

Heading south today we stop in Bluff, UT. It's time to adventure down the San Juan river. You'll be able to choose a paddleboard or inflatable kayak as your method of transport down the rivier to experience the scenery, wildlife and ancient rock art. On output, you'll be picked up and whisked back to Bluff for a relaxing sunset by the pool.

Its our last day of red rocks as we visit the Four Corners monument and Shiprock that plays a significant role in Navajo religion, myth, and tradition. Continuing south, we'll head to our last night together for a special dinner in Gallup.
