Whispers from the past reveal the people and places of the Four Corners that have made indelible impressions.  Mavericks, ancients, soldiers, artists & settlers who moved among the geologic and architectural wonders have left us an fascinating story to share together.  You'll walk in the footsteps of the ancients and experience the driving forces of westernization in this corner of the United States. This tour offer many opportunities to enjoy art, food, scenery and history in a relaxing setting.

Day 1 - Arrivals to Albuquerque

Make your way to Albuquerque Sunport (ABQ) by 4:00 pm.  You'll have a ticket in hand for shuttle service from the airport to the Hotel Andaluz.   We'll kick the tour off with a trip to the top of Sandia Peak via the Sandia Peak Tramway for a champagne toast to a legendary sunset with some tasty bites to eat.

Day 2 - Albuquerque to Las Vegas, NM

We'll leisurely travel along the Turquoise Trail, a  National Scenic Byway, to take in the history, scenery and art of the area.  A stop at Pecos National Monument is a crossroads of ancient and civil war history where we have a picnic lunch.  On arrival to  Las Vegas, NM we will visit the Rough Riders Museum (a tribute to Teddy Roosevelt) before arriving for the evening at our historic hotel.

Day 3 - Las Vegas, NM to Taos

After a leisurely breakfast in Las Vegas, we'll head north to spend the day visiting Taos Pueblo plus the Kit Carson Home and Museum. For dinner we have a special dinner at an acclaimed dining establishment located in a registered historic landmark, Doc Martins.

Day 4 - Taos to Pagosa Springs

Today we will make our way north to the Great Sand Dunes National Park and over Wolf Creek Pass.  To end the day, we'll spend the evening soaking any soreness away in America's deepest Hot Spring in Pagosa Springs.

Day 5 - Pagosa Springs to Durango

Its an hour drive from Pagosa Springs to Durango.  After a leisurely morning at the springs, we'll visit Chimney Rock National Monument enjoy a bite to eat and then check in to our historic hotel in Durango.

Day 6 - Durango

Today, you have your choice of activities.  Included in the tour is a round-trip first-class ticket on the Durango Silverton Railroad.  If you would like to add some adventure, the option to add a zipline experience is available or you can choose to spend the day on a fly fishing expedition.

Day 7 - Durango to Santa Fe

After breakfast, we head out early for the lands that inspired Georgia O'keeffe's art.  We'll spend the afternoon at Ghost Ranch traversing the breathtaking landscapes before moving on to historical Santa Fe.  It's a leisurely afternoon of art, shopping and history in Old Town Santa Fe before a special final night dinner together as a group.

Day 8 - Santa Fe to Albuquerque

We finish up our time together with a leisurely morning. Checking out of the hotel at 10:00 am to arrive at Albuquerque at 11:15am to allow for departures from Albuquerque Sunport after 12:15pm.
